Using ITS Courses in Churches, Ministry Organizations
Churches and ministry organizations use ITS courses in various ways and receive a discount
(see policies in the ITS Product Manual for discount options.). They are adaptable
to your specific settings and situations. Contact ITS for suggestions on
how best to use ITS courses in your context.
Suggested ways to use ITS courses:
- Continuing Education: Pastors, ministry staff, and others can use ITS courses as a refresher,
to study new areas of interest, or to fulfill continuing education units - without up-rooting from
their current ministry and without high tuition costs.
- Mission Agencies: ITS courses are valuable for pre-field training, supplemental
training while on furlow, and on-the-field training. Missionaries can continue
to learn and grow without leaving their ministry location.
- Church Institutes: Use ITS courses to supplement your church institute
or as the foundation for a church institute curriculum. Participants can listen to the
lectures and meet as a group for clarification, instruction, and encouragement.
- Lay Training: ITS courses also serve as the foundation of Lay Training
ministries so that lay leaders develop theologically as well.
