Thank you for previewing the ITS Full Membership available to approved schools (see criteria below). Member Schools form the Evangelical Seminary Deans Council, the key advisory group for the production of ITS courses.

The Evangelical Seminary Deans Council (ESDC), sponsored by the Institute of Theological Studies (ITS), is a partnership of the deans of accredited North American evangelical seminaries and the leaders of ITS. It exists to encourage participating deans, advance the work of theological education, and develop the ministry of ITS.

The ESDC is comprised of the deans of accredited North American evangelical seminaries known as "Member Schools". Member School status is based on the following Membership Criteria, and is limited to thirty (30) schools.

1. Institutional commitment to the essentials of the evangelical faith (consistent with the doctrinal statement of ITS).
2. Consistent attendance (three of five consecutive meetings) at the entire Evangelical Seminary Deans Council (ESDC) / ITS Council Meeting by the school's dean or designated representative.
3. Active promotion of ITS courses in publications and with students.
4. Regular purchase of ITS courses.
5. Annual membership fee, invoiced with ESDC Annual Meeting registration and due from Member Schools whether or not a school representative attends the annual meeting.
6. Membership review:
1. ESDC recommends potential new members at their annual meeting.
2. ITS Board approves or removes membership status at their annual meeting.

ITS provides the following benefits for ESDC members:

1. Automatic invitation to the ESDC Annual Meeting. (Guest invitations are limited; only members are guaranteed an annual invitation.)
2. ESCD Annual Meeting discounts (savings on full fee charged to guests, and airfare stipend).
3. Priority promotion of Member Schools on the ITS website. Click here for an example.
4. Consultation with Member Schools as the primary advisory board for ITS development.
5. All the benefits of Basic Participation.
